Parking for the O2

Hi all

I'm heading up to the O2 on Friday but am trying to figure out where to park. I need to be able to get out to Bewley's Dublin Airport Hotel as fast as possible afterwards. I was thinking of parking around Connolly station and getting the shuttle bus to/from the O2 or walking it.

Is it possible to park there?

If not, could anyone suggest anything else?

I will have plenty of time before the gig to get wherever I need to get in the city centre, once I will be able to get out fast enough...

Hi Laura

There is a car park on just off the quays in the IFSC. I think it 5 euro in the evening for gigs. It would be best then to head for the port tunnel, this will get you from the port to bewleys in 3/4 minutes for 3 euro. the tunnel ends and the next exit off the M1 is beside Bewleys.

there's a car park in the Jury's Hotel more 5-10 mins walk from the 02.
thing is, the hotel usually gets packed on the night of gigs, so if you get there early you should get a spot.


When your coming out of the car park, take a left, you'll end up around sherrif street area and you can navigate your way home from there, you'll miss all the traffic on the quays

On a slightly related note, does anybody know what time the beyonce gig will be over on Friday night? I am picking my OH up after and I have to go do a gig myself in Skerries for 11:30, will I make it?

Most O2 gigs end about 10.30 - 10.45. If you can avoid most of the traffic and head up the Tunnel onto the M1 you'll be there in no time!

Thats what I thought, thanks for that.. sure I'll give the OP a lift out to Bewleys too then in that case!
