Recycling cardboard boxes

I just bought some shelving from Argos and want to get rid of the boxes it came in. Can I bring them back to the store? Will they accept them?

iirc they have to accept back their own packaging. But you could always just break down the boxes and put them in the green bin. Or shred them for your compost bin if you have one.
