Long Hair : Cut It Or Keep It?

I'm a guy who has long hair and I've been contemplating cutting it short for a long while now! I don't think I have ridiculously long hair, it's well above my shoulders, but I've really been thinking about getting it cut!

So what does everybody think of guys with long hair?

And what famous persons hair style would people recommend to get, if I was to get it cut?

Wait till the swallows leave their nest at the end of the summer and cut it then.

It would be awful to leave them homeless

It happens a lot that people who have long hair make the step and get it cut off.

Of everyone I know who has done thins, no one has ever said,

"No, I liked it better the other way"

    Cut it man.

If it's just longish hair, keep it. It's well cooler than a bazzer.

If it's in good condition, how about donating it to make a wig and make a charity event out of it?

It's a great way to get people to buy you a few beers while you make money for a good cause.

Cool, I have long hair too.

You could go for this but you could also use that fringe in the picture and keep your length to go for a Dave Hill look.

Do a youtube search for Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer in their Slade programmes, they'll teach you how to cut it right.

I went from having almost shoulder-length hair down to a blade-4. It was dramatic, but lots of people have told me I look much better with short hair. Who knows, if you're lucky you might end up looking almost as handsome as me!

On the same page in After Hours and all...

Unless this thread is specifically about you, OP? In which case, going on the detailed information you gave us (ie that you have hair), I would say walk away from the computer for a minute and buzz it. No more tough decisions to make.

Also to preemptively answer your next thread, yes you should wear a coat tomorrow. Just because it's May doesn't mean you shouldn't be prepared for rain.

Cut it, make it into a wig, and wear it.

I just my cut my hair after 8 years and it feels great. It's been fun too when I see my reflection. I have to say I did ponder about for a while wondering if I would lose my image (however dillusional ). But it has been great. I felt like a little boy again. The reaction from women has been particularly interesting. Nobody has said I look worse. And the practical side is much better, quicker showers, product and mirror looking, no strands of hair everywhere. However I'll soon be 32 & i started to feel a little scruffy for my age. I've got about an inch of lenght which allows me to make it look messy which i like.

Leave it for a month and see how you feel then. If you are still thinking about it then, Cut it.

Im in the same boat but mine is a bit longer. Im feeling the urge to clip it back a good bit. If ya dont like it short just let it grow!

You have one of those skinny pointy faces... I'd say keep the length you have, but get it styled or something.

My hair is probably around the same length, if not a tiny bit shorter. I'd say it prob ain't too hard to manage right, and shorter hair wouldn't suit you so keep it/ take off half an inch!
