    Arg! Art-attack!

Jesus, did they employ a 12-year-old to do the cover on that brochure? All the characters look like they're high....even the bus.

Although, nice and simple looking route map for the tourists...despite the apparent relocation of Shannon on it :D

Which is funny, as most Americans think we are talking about drugs when they hear the word craic, which is also mentioned in the brochure.

Explore the West of Ireland This Summer with Bus Éireann’s Great Value Bus Trails

People holidaying at home this summer can save money when exploring the beautiful scenery of the West of Ireland with Bus Éireann’s Open Road ticket.

The Open Road ticket is a flexible ticket that allows customers unlimited travel on any of our services – Expressway, local, city and town – over three days out of any six consecutive days for just €54.

Having an Open Road ticket enables customers to greatly reduce their travel expenses, while also giving them the ability to pick and choose when they want to make their journey and how many journeys they want to make. And if you need more time to experience the many sights and sounds of the West then extra days of travel can be added to the Open Road ticket.

To help customers see all that the West and North West have to offer, Bus Éireann has published a brochure called “West’s Awake Bus Trails” that shows the bus routes that visit popular destinations in the region such as the Cliffs of Moher, Lisdoonvarna, the Aran Islands and the Yeats Trail.

For instance, when in Galway, visitors can take route 421 to Clifden or route 422 to Westport via Cong where the “The Quiet Man” was filmed. In Sligo, you can take route 472 to Strandhill Beach or route 473 to Rosses Point. In Donegal, a journey on route 64 will bring you to Bundoran.

Bus Éireann also runs day tours to Glenveagh Castle and Gardens, Slieve League Sea Cliffs and Donegal Bay, and Achill Island.

“The Bus Éireann West Awake Bus Trails allow visitors to the region to view the beautiful scenery of the West and North West of Ireland, go to the many festivals along the way, and visit picturesque tourist towns while they sit back, relax and enjoy the experience,” said Andrew McLindon, Media and PR Manager, Bus Éireann.

Bus Éireann also operates a number of services every day from the West and North West direct to Dublin Airport and Shannon Airport.

The Bus Éireann “West’s Awake Bus Trails” brochure can be downloaded from www.buseireann.ie and is also available at Bus Éireann travel centres. Open Road Tickets can be purchased on-line at www.buseireann.ie or through Bus Éireann travel centres.

    +100 Cleo

Seriously, this brochure just cries out as being either:

    a) A 'morkiting' abomination concieved by someone with a degree in Tomfoolery

    or

    b) A 12 year old relative to a BE employee who was given a shot at design to cut down costs (In otherwards, done for the price of an X-Box game...etc...)

A simple picture of the bus driving past an ocean scene in the west, would have worked so much better and would have been straight forward to set up!

A pair of coked up tourists? An Irish Setter poorly cut into the back window of a toon-bus? A toon-bus that looks more stoned than it's passengers? WTF?!!
