Had heard that if higher than 150 will be a girl and lower will be a boy??

Is it an old wives tale ??

My lil bean was 154 today. :)

I think it's an old wives tale... my babies heart rate always varied between 145/155 and she's a girl... If you really want to find out, ask at your next scan, most hospitals oblige...

My baby's heart rate was always above 150 too, at one doppler scan the nurse commented "i'd put money on it that its a girl with that heart rate" and it was!

I wouldn't go rushing out buying pink yet though ;)

Old wives tale: I had boy/girl twins and the boy consistently had a "girl" heartrate whereas the girl had a "boy" heartrate.
