    Okay, I need some help.

I don't think I'm wearing the right bras. Now I'm okay on the size thing, that I'm familiar with. I was measured about 2 years back in La Sensa, and I'm going to Marks to be measured again today.

Now the thing is, well, the two things are:
    (1) I'm paranoid about having droopy boobies! Especially when I get older.
    Im 25 now.

    (2) I'm not really happy with my boob size. I would like them a little smaller. Now, I know alot of people will laugh when they read this, as I'm a mere 34D, well, I was the last time I was measured. I think I may be a little smaller now. The problem lies in my size 8 frame. I feel like my boobs add weight to me thats not there.

As a result of this I tend to wear sports bra's alot of the time. I am active enough, so would have a good reason to be wearing them during my time out of work, but I find myself wearing them to work (teacher) too.

What kind of bra's should I be buying? Minimizers?

Please help, as I'm not sure how helpful the M&S ladies would be if I went in blathering about my boobs!! Not sure exactly how much info is too much to them??!!

    thanks

The minimiser bras will spread the bust out giving the impression of a smaller bust. They tend to give very good support too depending on the style you choose. I would try any type with good support on to see what suits you the best.

The girls in M&S are very well trained (I know, I used to work in the lingerie department there) and will help you to find what's right for you. You have a definite idea of what you want and that will help. Maybe try to go in at a quiet time though.

the trick is once you find your correct size (which you will by being measured) is not to get hung up on bras that size, the secret is to try on lots of bras untill you get ones that fit properly (you will know instantly) a good idea is to wear a plain fitted tshirt, then try this on over the bra and you will get a better idea of what the bra actually does for you.

most women will suffer the dreaded sag at some stage, no matter how good you are at finding and wearing the correct size bra. but every little helps.

for the larger chest debenhams have a great line called gorgeous, which i have found to be the best, but again, try on different sizes, as the way a bra is constructed makes for variation in shape and fit.

always make sure the centre part of the bra is flat to your breast bone, that the back of the bra is horizontal, and not up under your shoulder blades, and make sure the straps are the right lenght on you (too short and they fall down meaning they are not taking any of the weight, and too tight and they cause welts)

As for minimisers personally speaking there is not too much of a choice, i find they tend to have wider straps (which imo is not a good look under a strappy top for instance) i have found that a good fitting bra will do just the same as a minimiser, i.e. lift and shape the boobs to naturally make you appear more streamlined and slimmer.

    Happy shopping!
