A putter is a putter - ok so there are loads of different styles but the length and lie are probably the most important aspects as well as "your confidence". A putter is a friend and what works for you won't for me.

If you are missing 5 foot putts then that's normal but if you are missing too many then that's down to technique and practice - a new putter won't fix that.

Ok so try out some of them and get the one that you like best. I generally select a putter that "sits" well.

I tried out the Sabertooth and was very tempted. I currently use an XG #7. I'm with Stockdam on liking a putter that "sits" well and both my XG and the Sabertooth do this. I find a putter that does this easier to line up (particularily on shorter putts) than the heel toe putter that I used previously.

I have the Sabertooth, and it has a very soft feel. You'd have to try one out tbh, much like any club

Putting has a lot to do with confidence and there's a whole bucketful of confidence in a shiny new putter.
Even changing between two putters you already own seems to work for a week or so.

    Spot on Obni.
Putters need to be treated the same way Alex Ferguson treats his players.
If your current 1st teamer isn't performing have a strong sub on the bench to replace it with.
Also all your putters need to be threatened regularly with being replaced by a big money summer signing.
