Does anyone know where I could get an Audix D6 to try out? I'm looking to buy a kick drum mic and my brother wants to go with the D6 but I'd really like to give it a go before I commit. I can get a D112 to try it out against, if theres any more I should be looking at please don't hesitate to suggest something.

I'm based in Offaly/Dublin so in those area would be best.

    A few other to try:

    Shure Beta 52A
    Shure Beta 91
    Sennheiser e902

Personally (from a live sound perspective anyway) I would put these three mics above either of the mics you mentioned in your original post.

The majority of big gigs you may go to, the engineer would often use either of the first two mics I list, or even a combination of the two.
