Gunshots?

    Did anyone else hear the noises that sounded like gunshots at around midnight last night? I'm out in Lurgan Park so something tells me it wasn't the fireworks from the docks, unless someone was setting them off around here?

    Up in the Ballybrit area I know some people heard fireworks, I would have been surprised if they were ones being set off in town but maybe someone was setting them off out this side too?

    I could hear the fireworks all night as the boats came in. That was in Merlin Park. I could even hear Galway Girl and the crowd roaring from my balcony after Green Dragon came in.
    But the fireworks didn't start until nearly 2am
