slipstream device driver

    I'm loading xp on new 500GB hitachi deskstar hardrive but it says it cant find the drive. So off i go looking for the sata driver to slipstream and i can find it.

    Any suggestions?

    Is the drive enabled in your BIOS?

    Can the system see the drive?

    It's the SATA/RAID controller drivers you need not one for the HD.

    You can either embed then in your ISO or load then from floppy but pressing IIRC F6 at the start of the Windows Setup.
