Self-inflicted parking damage - cat-claw like scrapes on the passenger door (about four inches long); rubber strip scraped; wing mirror casing scraped. How much is this likely to cost me and can anyone recommend somewhere on the north side of Dublin - I live in Baldoyle.

    Thanks,

    Ro

I recently used a crowd called Trimtech in Airside next to Eurocycles. Could not fault them for the job done or the service received at a reasonable price. Apparently they have a contract from a major car hire firm to repair the dents on rentals.

My da scraped the back of his jeep a few years ago (Was brand new) and he called a crowd called Car Craft, they're based in BallyBok, they come out and fix it at your house, cost him 80 quid and it was absolutely perfect, that was about 4 years ago so i'm sure their prices have changed but he found em very reasonable

My understanding from current bodyshop guys is that once they have to apply paint, you're looking at 500 +

    Overheads... ie regulations, are horrendous...
