Small crack in laptop

I just noticed there's a small crack in the back of my laptop, near where the hinge of the screen is. Should I be worried about this? I have to bring it to college with me a lot so leaving it at home isn't an option, but should I be looking to have it patched up or anything?Cheers.

If its in warranty I'd call it in for a repair. They may tell you its accidental damage but id call shennanigans given its near the hinge.

I'd almost say its a cosmetic defect, like the casing around the screen fit a little too snugly or something.
