best runners for beginner

what would be the best pair of runners for a beginner runner, i am only 16 btw i'm looking to get into a few 10k's ive done some myself in about an hour 15, is this reasonable.

I bought a pair of asics gels and they're great. And I'm a total beginner - Literally only started really training this week
