ESPNS Coverage in Australia

I am just wondering if anyone else residing in Australia had to sit through the god awful coverage of the Heineken Cup that was ESPN'S EURO RUGBY COVERAGE?

My god it was ****in painful. Lines such as :

''Nacewa starts with the rugby superstar for the English Lions Robert Kearney left out of the squad''

    Didn't help

Then referring to every kick as a 'drop' even penalty ****in kicks

I am fuming just thinking of the coverage

But what annoyed me most of all was ****in showing 2 seconds of a Rocky Elsomm interview at the end of the game then the commentator starts talking over about bull**** then they cut to commercials for the whole celebrations like literally show nothing then finally cut back for the final 30 seconds and start playing this ****ty dramatic music and show Leinster lift the cup then immediately cut out again and that was it

It doesnt sound too bad now when I type but believe me I was fuming it really was that bad that I felt like it had slighted Leinster's win

I watch Northern Hemisphere rugby in the States on Setanta-i online. Gets me out of the way of the wife who still watches TV. I can watch the games when I want to, and it's home-grown coverage. I'm pretty sure Setanta-i is available in Australia. (And no... I don't work for Setanta... this isn't an ad). Throw out the telly man.

I watched it on ESPN also but only the HT stuff was Yanky nonsense.

It was the Sky Sports team commentating during the game...

Was not on Setanta unfortuanately. It is a very good service and you can watcharchived games the next day instead of the all nighters required if suits.

Im deffo getting the whole Setanta / ESPN / Foxtel set up next season, between the 3 wont miss a trick from home.

Do Setanta in Australia cover the Magners league games?

Yes they do ML, EPL and 6N.

ESPN have limited H Cup coverage, so if you get all 3 you are well covered.

Setanta online is much the same, I was signed p for a year but got sick of watching on my LT cos its sh1t. Buying a new one soon and will decide whetehr to go back online or just get the cable packages.

Goiing out to the pub for 1 match costs as much as a months rental and all the games ! S14 and NRL and everything else too, makes sense to me.
