I sure do. First presented by Marty Whelan, and then Theresa Lowe

This programme was mentioned in a thread here recently but I can't find it. It was in the early 90s.

Apparently, Teresa Lowe has since become a barrister.

I liked it so much I even had the board game - though for some reason every answer seemed to involve the Boer War.

The best bit was at the end of the programme where you could ring up for some kind of competition and you had to give your TV license number.

Nowadays they just get you to dial a e15 per second premiun phone no.

    Hi everybody

This brings back memories as my dad had a team on where in the world in early 1993. The episode was one of two shot on a Tuesday night in Feb, with his been the second one.

She has indeed. Represented me once. She was the first person I saw when I went into the court so asked her would she represent me. Didn't realise who she was until after the case. I asked her for her autograph. She was chuffed and didn't charge me for her services. Result!

    Sorry for the bump :)

Does anyone know where to find the theme tune by any chance?

Where in the World, loved it, but always made me miserable because it was Sunday night.

    *Where in the World
    *Glenroe
*Oh, no I haven't learned my spellings and now it's bed-time!

Ha ha, same here! I miss proper family quiz shows like WitW.

...and Teresa Lowe was married to the piano player, Frank?, on the Late Late Show. You remember, Gaybo use to always get him to play a tune for him.

It was the brightest set in all of RTE I'd say. If I close my eyes I can still see the glare.

    Africa 5 please.

We spent Sunday nights having fizzy orange and toffee biccies in my Aunts House at a roaring fire while watching Where in the World and Glenroe...... such innocent times.

Remember it well, Where in the World at 8pm, Glenroe at 8.30, and that was the last of the weekend... I know the opening credits for Where in the World featured in either The Snapper or The Van - can't remember which one.
