Just had a though reading some of the posts in the 5 series gt thread. Is there any cars which people thought were going to make them vomit but then over time grew on them?

I thought the ford focus when it first came out was stupid with its abstract triangular lights. but know looking back on it was a great looking car and trend setting looks.

Has anyone else had cars which when they came out hated them , but then grew to love them for some reason or another?

I use to hate the Boxster, but now love them.
I can't see why i didn't like them, they are great looking cars.

E60 five series, hated it at first, now love it. Although never warmed to the dashboard, and the doorcards pre facelift where pure cack.

Used to think they looked unbalanced and that the back lights looked mopey(does anyone else imagine front/rear lights like that?)

Pretty sure my next car will be one in some guise now :)
