    Congrats to John O'Regan for completing The North Face 100k Ultra Marathon in the Blue Mountains, Australia last week. That's 7 Ultras in 7 Continents for John. Check out his account of the race here.

    Well done John. Doesn't sound like fun but a massive achievement.

    Can you list your ultras/marathons by continent and the dates you did them (roughly).

    I know that modesty will prevent John from listing, so given that he is one of ours.....here are the details:

    2003 - Africa - Marathon des Sables.
    2004 - Polar Ice Cap / Atlantic Ocean - North Pole Marathon.
    2005 - North America - Yukon Arctic Ultra
    2006 - Antarctica - Antarctic Ice Marathon
    2007 - Asia - Dead Sea Ultra 50K
    2007 - Asia - Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon
    2008 - South America - Inca Trail South America
    2009 - Europe- Celtic 100K.
    2009 - Oceania - The North Face 100k, Blue Mountain Austrlia
