    Hi guys.

Basicly my whole french 4 module is continuous assesments. Just got my results earlyer today and i failed with a final grade of 39.70% witch sucks.
Is there any way of geting that to 40 somehow?:confused::confused::confused::confused:

Really depends on how nice your lecturer is, some will allow you to sit a repeat ca to help others wont, what does it says in the course notes about failing and repeating? You could ask to get it recorrected, also if that is all you fail you can still pass overall, you are allowed to fail one module by only 5 percent if you pass the rest, I do believe this is the same in all schools now.

Surely it should be rounded up? I've had grades of 39 rounded up to 40 in the final results. You should be able to pass by compensation anyway.

failed 3 more so dosent really apply. allready asked the lecturer if they could to a recheck on my class test. The thing is i did an average of all my assignments and i got 40.75% on average. Is it posible that they might have miss calculated it?

If you did really well in the the rest maybe, sometimes they look at your results and can "tweak" them, but only if they can see you are a hard worker and done well, that you might have had an off day.

Can compensation kick in if you fail 2 modules? I reckon I've failed one, I'd say I only got like 30% overall and I'm worried about another one but I'd say I got close to 40%. I know it can't apply to exams with less than 35% but can it aplly to the other one?

Nope sorry you can only compensate if you passed all bar one. Or at least this is how it is in science, engineering and computing.
