DVB-S on PC with Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-4000 [Resolved]

    Hi all,

    I bought a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-4000, and I can't get it to pick up anything! Its wired up to my Sky Dish and pointed to Astra 2 with all the default settings in WinTV, but it picks up nothing, the cable works fine in the sky box and picks up all the normal free to air channels, but I ain't got anything in the PC... any ideas?

    Not sure if it's the same problem. I know it's the satellite forum but I have a Hauppauge HVR 900 HD which I use to pick up DTT on the laptop. The supplied Hauppauge software doesn't work properly & all I get is sound. Currently I'm using DVBViewer (Software for satellite & DTT) & it works fine. I have used ProgDVB for satellite in the past & it worked fine & is also free to download.

    Sorted it, I installed windows 7 and Media Center works straight away :D

    I now have BBC HD!
