I've seen a few former TCDSU types running for this year's elections. I thought it might be interesting to put together a list.

So here are a few for starters....

    By-elections
Dublin Central - Ivana Bacik (LAB) - President in the early 90's

    Local Elections
Fingal - Averil Power (FF) - President 01-02, Education 00-01
Kildare CoCo - Tony O'Donnell (FG) - Dep Pres 01-02
Kildare CoCo - James Lawless(FF) - Class Rep around 2000

I believe Wayne Tobin is running out in Bray also.

Ah, Mr. Tony O'Donnell is running :) Fair play to ya, didn't know about that.

Graham O'Maonaigh (Lab) was planning on running I think but he's been canvassing instead.

Oh this is useful! A list of hacks to avoid voting for.

Anyone know if there are any former hacks running in Dublin South?

How shocking, people who were interested in running for office while in college are interested in running for office outside of college. At least it's not a fake position any more.

Forgot to come on here and say it when I heard - congrats Tony!

Now, go and give out to wikipedia for deleting your page due to you being a non notable local election candidate :)
