    Two words

    "Sarpo Mira"

Blight resistant spuds. Never need the diathane again.
Put in 50kg of seed last week, next time I have to go near them is with the spade when I'm digging them :)

How do they taste by the way? And where do you get them. Stockists my side of country look at me as if I have 2 heads when I ask for a few to try out.

I don't know how they taste, this is the first year I have them. But they look a nice spud anyway.

I bought them from Ecoshop in Wicklow. www.ecoshop.ie ]

Doubt if they have any left, I already pointed a lot of people their way and its getting late now for planting.
