Not too bad at the moment, but meant to be shocking this weekend ahead! The GAA pitches are waterlogged too so no matches this weekend :(

Does anyone know of a good detailed weather forecast online for Australia? Even the Bureau of Meteorology is pretty vague, only gives a sentence or two.

Rain, incredibly high winds (it is Wellington, after all) and very cold temperatures. It's miserable.

Had to leave the heater on in the bedroom overnight because I couldb't stay warm even with two blankets and my electric blanket.

It's been nice and mild here in this bit of rural Vic. I find www.weather.com.au to be quite a good, detailed site - I can get a 7 day forecast and a detailed forecast with temps, wind, rain etc for the next 24 hours, plus current conditions from the nearest weather station.

The problem we have is we're really, really dry at the moment. The only moisture we're getting is from the overnight dew point. It's just enough to keep the plants going and green up the grass somewhat, but the ground is still parched. The last time we had a decent shower of rain (e.g. a rainy day, as opposed to an hour of drizzle) must be about six weeks ago.
