urgently need ophthalmology for baby

Its all in the title really. My son (12 months) has had a bad eye infection since Feb. Between doctor and consultant he has been on antibiotics and (most recently) steroids since. His consultant was to refer him to a certain professor.
Somehow, somewhere, someone didn't do their job and a two week wait for his apt was up two months ago. I have tried so hard to sort out this appt myself but between the two offices, either I'm given the wrong contact numbers/call back later/don't know what you're talking about....type responses.

I'm so stressed out with this I just want him seen, I don't care how much it costs or even where I have to go but I'm not prepared to wait another week, so I badly need to know what ophthalmologists treat babies privately.


(BTW all my GP gave me was a list of names most didn't treat children and the others wanted me to wait another few weeks as they dont treat privately)

We don't really go for people recommending docs on here. They can PM you if they like.

But you could always just ring up the private clinic associated with any of the kids hospitals. It's googleable.
