    Hi ,

    Twice today , I logged onto my hotmail account from my vodafone mobile and ended up on 2 different persons' hotmail accounts!
    In neither case did i enter any id or password bar my own.
    I have searched for news of a lapse of hotmail security today but found none.

    It definitely has me worried about their security.

    Coincidentally or not ,the names seemed to be Irish so perhaps it was a local lapse of security only , not interbational.

    Has anyone else experienced this today or recently?

    Using Vodafone Live? Could be something to do with their proxy I guess? Someone had a similiar problem with PMs on Boards here before with 3.

    I would also report it to Hotmail as soon as possible.

    There are major problems with hotmail email at the moment. when I went to sign in , I was told my email address or password were incorrect. I think there has been a major breach of security.
    If you find out how to contact hotmail, please let me know,

    thanks for link.
    i called vodafone on friday and helpdesk told me that they had issues for a few days this week!
    i wasnt the first to call apparently .
    i asked could i find out if anyone else had accessed my hotmail and was told the only way was to see if anyone had read mesages i hadnt!
    so much for anyone reading previously read messages.

    btw it was very hard to get hotmail help , i had to register , then i mailed then had to re direct my query , then i couldnt be sure if my new query was sent , and now i have no idea how to find out if they have answered me.

    problem was vodafone anyway.

    My hotmail was hijacked and the offender also got into my Ebay account and started trying to sell mobile phones. Luckily, EBAY spotted this and disabled the account. After getting my passwords reset on hotmail and Ebay the hardest part was changing the language settings from Chinese back to English.
    Lesson learned - Chenge passwords more often and dont use the same one for hotmail and Ebay !!
