    Hi,

Looking at buying a CLK 200 coupe 2007 1.8l. Anybody heard anything good, bad or indifferent about these cars.

    All suggestions appreciated.

    Thanks

Family member has one, nice but no sports car, lazy auto and lifeless steering left me cold. Nice interior, just try and find an Elegance with leather. She has had it since 2005 with no reliability issues.

I agree, even the auto 320 version feels lazy..whats the point of 3.2ltr then?

E-class is better, cheaper and has a more sophisticated chassis.
My father has owned both. Looking at the two side by side the CLK just doesn't make sense although the resealing pillarless glass and seat belts are cool.
1.8K with auto is a good combination; cheap to run and powerful enough but this car will never be a sports car.
