Band looking for singer

My bands been looking for a singer for quite a while now and i thought i'd try trusty boards:D
Ages ranging from 15-18, i'm aware that this is well below the average age of Boards users but there's no harm in trying...

Its two guitarists, bassist and a drummer, based around rathmines/churchtown area.

We only have two songs recorded (albeit very badly), but as a group we have one or two other songs learnt. I am the main songwriter at the moment and i don't write lyrics so we're looking for someone who can. We're working slowly though, we can't be described as very serious at the moment but we might become a bit moreso if we were a complete band.

I personally have about 15 songs finished on Guitar Pro and if someone wants to hear what they might be getting into then ask and i shall provide.

These are the two songs that are recorded, the first one was taken from a video of my school prize night so the quality's pretty bad.
The second was recorded rather hastily and before i got my new guitar so my tone isn't too good. There are a good few bits that are off time.

I'm not replying to your search for a singer, but I listened to your songs on your Bebo profile and I just want to say that you fellas are great. You have the essence of something special there and ye seem like focused lads who are really into what ye are doing. The respective guitar solos on 6am and The Heavy One are decent and tidy. Some class lead guitar on there. It's also class how ye actually have strong melodies to go with the pounding rhythm section- that's a potent combination. Btw, both songs are very aptly named as the 'feel' of the titles is very evident in each song.

I'm no music honcho (just a pedestrian enthusiast really), but, in all cases, I'd recommend that you guys keep your 'showcase-type songs' (demos, I guess) to under 4 minutes. Like, just dive right in smart and snappy wit your bag of musical knacks and blow the average Joe sort of listener out of da fcukin water. I saw that the Arctic Monkeys are one of your influences and that's a smart move because they're clever [EMAIL="b@stards"]b@stards[/EMAIL] and they do a bit of an attention-grabbing, exultation-rousing Ramones job on most of their songs. That's all I would say to ye, though I'm prob waffling a fair bit here, lol.

Great potential there and ye have plenty of raw talent being ploughed into your songs. Btw, I wouldn't worry too much about lyrics because your music is sturdy enough on its own, though someone singing over it is the final, vital piece of the jigsaw.

Best of luck 2 you fellas. I'd say we'll be hearing lots more of u in the years 2 come.

not really sure if i would sing the kinda style u are talking about. maybe you could be a bit more specific? i do sing and generally i would sing maybe blues rock kinda style.
