Iv never used fake bake but ......... Top image tan is fantastic! you can see it as it goes on and then it develops further after a few hours.
Also love the aerosol St Tropez (very expensive tho and takes a few coats to make it golden, worth it in the end tho)

For quick and easy tho you cant beat Rimmel Sun SHimmer (wash off)

The best fake tan is no fake tan. 99% of people look worse with it than they do without. I also believe that look is starting to seem dated. But obviously that's JMHO. If you must, I'd go with the body lotions which include just a touch of the stuff (Olay)

I really dont agree, pale and pasty is not a good look for most people so if faking it does the trick then what harm?! And I think with a lot of ppl it works really well

Sally Hensen is great for a one night job

For a longer lasting non-wash off tan , I use Loreal Sublime Bronze, but only the gel one that says "visible application" on it. Do NOT go near sublime Bronze spray...even the best fake tanners will wake up the next morning with the craziest streaks you will ever see, that cannot be scrubbed off!!!

I actually swear by Rimmel Sun shimmer, i use it everyday and i LOVE that it washes off so i don't look like i've a skin disorder by Monday or Tuesday....Its not great if your going to be in the rain or getting splashed but i just love how natural it looks.

For a wear off tan (and i think i've pretty much tried them all - I am the worlds whitest person) I would really recommend tantastic...its new enough but seems to be in all the unicares, came up very natural on me.

As for the post about looking better without tan...NO WAY! It's all about exfoliating and moisturising. If your tan is applied properly no one can tell whether its real or not!

I've tried Tantastic for the first time this evening...and I'm impressed! It went on really easily with a mitt, and started getting darker straight away.
Can't wait to see what it looks like in the morning :)

I think we need a fake tan sticky. There have been so many threads on it lately.

On topic. I use Sally hensen. Easy to apply, not streaks, washes off.
