Short, tight in places with great greens. Driver can mostly stay in the bag

Very short course. Greens, imo, which are good, small and quick.

1st hole, dogleg right, you'll be teeing off from the cage (you'll know when you get there), no more that a 7 iron + and 8 to the green, par 4. 2nd, long par 4, oob on the right, driver down the middle + 5 iron to the green. 3rd, par 4, 6 iron + 9 iron/PW to the (tricky) green. 4th Par 3, short, but uphill take 1 more than you usually would. 5th par 4, landing area is down hill for a driver, take a 3wood and an 8 iron to the green, small green. 6th, par 3, downhill bit deceptive, no more than a full 8, aim for the centre of the green. 7th, you must draw the ball off the tee, drive + 9iron. 8th, standard par 4, 3wd + 7iron, 2 putts, get over it. 9th, short par 4, 6iron (to 180) no more than a PW to the green.

    Back 9.

10th, straightest hole on the course, driver with a good 7 iron to the green. Have a look at where the pin is, as it is a two tier green, if you are above the pin, the putt will be very tricky. 11th, long par 3. Utility or 4 iron to the green, green is fairly flat. 12th, 3wd to the top of the ditch, if you mis-hit it, or are too far right/left, take your punishment, and pitch up to the top of the ditch. Get your yardage, and take an extra club to the green which is way below you shooting area. 13th, short par 4, avoid any ideas of going for the green (probably 300yards) as it will definitely end with abogey or worse, 7 iron + 9 iron is you play.

14th, straight shot off the tee is essential, with oob on the right, if you can drive it 230 -240 (err to be left off the tee) you will have no more than a 9 iron to the green. the green slopes down towards you, so aim for the pin. 15th, par 3, 7 iron from the tee, bail out is to the right with plenty of room if your tendency is to slice. 16th, trickiest hole on the course. If you are long, take on the evergreen trees on the right, with a fade. If not, aim down the centre again with a fade, avoid being long left. 17th, long(ish) straight par 4, with a big decent green. A 2 putt is good after hitting the green.

18th, the only par 5 on the course. Long hole, which is hittable in 2 if your quite long. If not, a drive + 7 +7 will get you there. The green is fairly well protected with bunkers to the left and back.

It's not a bad course, but be prepared for lots of "FORE" shouting. Enjoy!!

Kept well, good greens and well prepared but I don't like the layout. Too many holes sit awkwardly because, from what I can see, of the land restrictions. Seems to be a great club but IMO the course design is poor.

Advice for playing the course? Play for safety on all the holes that look tight. There's little reward for length and plenty of trouble for errant shots.

Cheers All, can't get much better advice than that!
