Lee Westwood will have to do without his new caddie when he tees off in the Scottish Open in July.
Instead of accompanying Westwood around Loch Lomond, Billy Foster will leave the course on Thursday 9 July, the day the tournament starts.
He will trek 90 miles - golf bag and all - and plans to arrive at Turnberry, the venue of the Open, the following Monday.
"I organised the walk while I was working for Sergio Garcia, but Lee is fine with it," said Foster.
The Darren Clarke Foundation for breast cancer and Candlelighters Children's Cancer Trust will be the beneficiaries.

Hope Lee remembers to take his clubs out of the bag before he starts otherwise he will have to borrow a set of someone ;)
