Passing NCT with engine management light on?

    Hey guys, what do you reckon.. Can you pass an NCT with the engine management warning light on in the dashboard? Nothing wrong so to speak with the car, just a sensor.. but it would be obvious to the tester when he/she drives the car to the ramp etc

    NCT'd a 1 series BM a month or two ago in Naas. The engine management light was on, and had no problems at all. I've seen others post differently though so maybe it depends where you go?

    Not part of the test afaik. You should have no problem.

    That might have been for something like an ABS warning light, which I think is a failure.
