Being put on a 3 day week

So to cut a long story short I finished college in May 2008 and started a job the first week in June 2008. I am now been put on a 3 day week from the beginning of June. I'm 21 and living at home. Does anyone know if i would be entitled to social welfare payments for the other 2 days and if so how much??

more to add to the story:
Just after finding out that my 2007 contributions were M - which seeminly dont contribute to the PRSI contributions. So bascially I am screwed! Am I right in saying that I'll have to apply for J.A and get a means test and because I'm under 24 my parents income will be taken into account. I know my parents (my dads a farmer) arent very wealthy but I dont think it takes alot to be limit for the means test. I have alot of bills but none of them are in my name so they cant be taken into account (its complicated - my BF is on JA and his payment dont cover them so I do, if I lose 200+ euros a week I dunno what is gonna happen)

    Any advice greatly appreciated
