I have white, very pale skin and dark hair. Lots of freckles, more in the sun. I don't tan, at all, just red and freckly.

Anybody able to suggest a nice, suitable bikini colour for my Hol's in June.
I think most colours just don't do anything for me, though I stick to reds, blues and blacks.

Anybody know good colours for me?

I'm quite pale and always have issues with bikini colours! Last year I got a navy one with tiny white polka dots which I felt went well with my skin. I also picked up a striped one with dark reds/browns/orange/navy.

Roxy and quicksilver and brands like that do nice bikinis in sort of earthy colours like khaki's and golds and stuff. I have the exact same skin type and they look good on me (i hope haha)

always have the same problem myself! i got a brown one in next a few years ago though and it was definitely the nicest on me that i've ever had.
i also got a roxy bikini in kinda polka dot style in cream, green and blue a few months ago which was pretty good. super comfy as well.

Speaking of bikinis, does anyone know a brand for larger boobs. Im a 34DD so i need a bikini with cups and underwire and stuff, but one that will actually stay on!

I'm the same as you and am currently swimsuit/tankini-hunting. There are a few brands in Debenhams that you can buy bikinis or swimsuits with cup sizes in. Hope that helps! Me, I find halterneck tankinis tend to keep the girls in place ;)

SapphireDiamond - Whatever you do stay away from polka dots, looks wrong with freckles IMO. Something dark to match your hair and with a bit of colour to off set the white would be the best i think. Like this one:

Try Caprice Bikinis, they've good support and come in separates which is great for a better fit.

I'd say dark colours such as black navy or brown. Some lovely dark greens too, would be lovely with your dark hair. Avoid reds and pinks cos if your skin goes red it just highlights it.

La Senza are very good for the fuller bust, the bikini tops come in bra sizes!

Do not go pastels or light colours beacuse they will only make you look paler.
Look for brighter more solid colours. Bright Blues are good and Emerald or Jade greens..thats what I always go for anyhow. What colour is your hair beacuse that will also greatly determain what colours suit you?

Further update due to shopping expedition yest:

For actual bikinis in cup sizes, Arnotts seem to have a really good selection, expensive though. I was in loads of places trying on swimwear stuff yesterday. Ended up getting a Triumph tankini set (with built in bra) in Clerys for half price, 26E. Very happy :pac:

I'm a 34DD and just got back from hols yday, i bought my bikinis in La Senza before i went and they worked perfectly. The bikini tops come in cup sizes and some have underwiring etc. where needed. I'm pale with red/blonde hair so i went for bright colours, there is a great bright blue one and a bright yellow one there that were perfect! Hope that helps a little bit!

Thanks ladies for the help regarding my the pale skin-bikini dilemma.

Looking into the green/kahki and navy for sure. And Roxy. I'd be nervous about bright colours as i hate the way they look against my skin.
    Will report back.
    Appreciate it.

As for the 34DD, can't help you there.

Im quite pale with red hair and the millions of freckles too. Just back from holidays and got a purple bikini and an set that had turquoise (sp?) bottoms and a stripey top in Penneys. Def go for stronger colours as pale ones will just make you look translucent

When I skimmed through that, I thought 26E referred to your bra size!
I was like ... how narrow is her back! :pac:

+1 for La Senza for busty girls, like myself! Good support and sizes up to an FF.

M&S are always a trusted brand for good quality supportive bikinis too!
