Put the below post on bands & musicians a couple of days ago - thinking maybe this would be a better place?

Booking agencies for COVER BANDS any info??

    Hi guys,

I’m about to start auditioning singers for and acoustic duo cover act. And I’m doing the usual - going around bars to organise gigs etc but I was recently speaking to someone with a similar ‘small’ set up to myself who mentioned she was getting a fair bit of work through booking agencies (she gave me some names but i don't have them any moreredface.gif). I know there’s a fair bit of info on here about gigs and promotions for bands starting out but this particular act i’m setting up is specifically cover work for hopefully a bob so I’m really looking to get a couple of solid gigs a week and/or a good agency for bookings.

I’ve already sourced a couple of agencies myself such as audioworks and eofeasa/good gigs and a couple of other names I’m a little hazy about.

So what I’m wondering is can anyone here recommend a decent agency to approach in order to get my act pub/café etc bookings?

    Any info greatly appreciated,
    Thanks
    DF.
