Much nicer than in Dublin. We rode in pouring rain for the second evening running.

lovely pictures .. they are helping me to feel a little more 'Zen'. My evening ride consisted of avoiding ped's on the clontarf cycle track, grrrr :)

Had a lovely spin up to Glencree and down towards Enniskerry this evening. Weather much better than Mondays soaking up the Liam Horner.

What's that strange blue stuff in all those photos.:D

great pics, I miss the place, use dto live up that way. Used to spend my summers messing about in boats and in the water off mount charles pier. I was out for a spin last night and too enjoyed 3 hours of sunshine whilst others were getting soaked, just luck I guess.

emty, I left Sligo last September, used to live just near Ballinafad, miss that place terribly also.

Great pics, made me smile aswell. any vicious dogs up there ?:D

forgot to mention only saw about a dozen cars all evening (apart from three women with buggies blocking the entire road ! but they did move)

normal service resumed today but there are weird blue bits amongst the grey
caroline you need to get up glengesh or the gap of mamore

keep meaning to try glengesh but its about 100k round trip from the house (and i'm still too unfit and flabby to make it up)
mind you there racing up it on the ras dhun na ngall on thebank holiday weekend (shame i'm away)

I want to cycle in Donegal
I want to cycle in Sligo

Doing some of my Wicklow 200 training in Donegal next weekend. Can't wait..!!!

There's the Sligo to Letterkenny Cycle - Sunday July 5th. This is for the Irish Cancer Society.

Going up on the Friday would give you plenty of time explore Sligo and Donegal on the Saturday.

the sligo letterkeeny ride is purely along the main road (unavoidable in places). i would hate it.
its not even that nice, quite spectacular through the gap but apart from that
its 120k and it is a fundraising ride you are expected to raise money for it ( as far as i know and it has raised a lot )

Got soaked on the way up stocking lane but the views and the Sky from Liffey head bridge were spectacular, didnt rain after that to Laragh and back.
