    I'd say it's pretty good. Goretex is great stuff so as it's made out of that I'd say it's a safe bet. Seems a good price.

    Available in McGuirks for 120 or 140euro (cant remember off hand). The design is horrible though, pockets are in the wrong places, pockets are really awkward to open etc.

    Was in there on Saturday and Dad ended up getting some Sunderland/Sotherland gear for not too much more (185 total for top and pants). He got to use them on Sunday and the fecker was bone dry coming in, I was wet to the b*11*x!. So some proper wet gear is definitely on my shopping list.

    Even if your not buying there, well worth going into mcguirks or similar to see what they have on offer and see what you think of it. The 95pound one might seem great value but when its a really badly designed one, its just not worth it.

    Regards
    Ian

    Cheaper here --> http://www.direct-golf.co.uk/golf_clothing/callaway_golf/balmoral_waterproof_golf_jacket_waterproofs/p9176

    Edit: Sorry thats just the jacket. It's the same price but shipping may be cheaper.

    I bought the Nike Stormfit from elverys because my other raingear is just to warm for sprint/summer (even what passes for spring/summer here) and it's grand. Been out in pretty heavy rain and had no problems.

    i bought the nike one in elverys 2weeks ago in the sale, and have played in the rain 4times in the last 2weeks, well worth it, its not too heavy either,

    Was it GoreTex Sunderland or not? I got non GoreTex Sunder trousers before (about €100) and brought them back as the let in at the crotch and also, they didnt repel the water and got heavier and longer the wetter they got.

    I bought DriJoys a couple of years ago and they're the biz. Whether they are expensive depends on the person buying and I don't think it's worth buying a cheap(ish) suit if you have to replace it after a year or two. I was lucky enough to have a golf prize that I was able to use towards the purchase. I also have Aquajoy shoes and they're also the biz. One tip about the suit - don't wash it or you'll wear off the waterproof finish. Just brush the mud off the pants (when they're dry!).

    I have a Sunderland pants and it always keeps me dry. It is heavy and warm though so maybe not perfect for all year round. I always wash it... 30 degrees and no fabric softeners... no issues afterwards.
    Have a footjoy jacket which is pretty good too though I hate having to wear it. Mostly I wear a short-sleeved shower-proof top...
    F****** country. It's almost June. We should be discussing what's the best sun cream...

    Thought I was real smart a month ago buying sun cream for my golf bag, which is where it still is. Unused.
