Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In relation to Home carers tax credit - this depends on your wifes income to date. If she has earned over approx 5000 euro (excluding redundancy) then the home carers credit would not be worth applying for this year. However if she is still out next year then apply for it. If she takes up employment next year and earns over 5000 or she thinks she will, then the home carers credit should be removed otherwise you will end up paying more tax.
