Under 18 in a pub after 9?

My mates asked me to head out with them to a pub Saturday nite, it'll be past 9. They're all 18 already but I'm still not there. If I go and don't drink - I'll probably be in a massive group, will they kick me out for not bein 18?

Any experiences of this kinda thing? Should I just pass it up?

    Thanks

<snip>Guys, read the charter: you can't recommend someone to do something illegal.</snip>

Its illegal to be in a bar after 9 for anyone under 18, unless it is a private function with a substantial meal being served.

In most places, you wont get past the bouncers without id! The bouncers will check everyone when they start work, for id like, so the barmen dont have to every time someone wants a drink.

I doubt they would. Unless your drawing attention to yourself by acting the eejit!
Getting in is usually the problem..... not getting kicked out!

Nah it's only a pub. As long as u keep yourself to urself u'll be fine.

had my grad nite there and we all went to the pub, most of us under 18 and there wasn't a prob.

    So go.

As long as they're not asking for ID on the door, or randomly asking throughout the night, I'm sure you'd be ok. Just don't draw attention to yourself.

OP, it's up to you whether you want to try to go or not. No-one here can make that decision for you. Just remember that it is illegal for u18's to be in a pub after 9 (even if you don't plan on drinking) and that it's very likely you''ll be asked for ID and turned away.

Since the charter states that we don't tolerate discussions that encourage illegal activities, I don't think there's much point in leaving this thread continue.
