According to Les Kiss in the most recent Ruggamatrix podcast. It's right at the end, about 3 mins left if you want to listen. Says he only heard recently and doesn't know the reason.

It's a really excellent podcast in general. Good bit of talk about the HEC final for anyone who's interested. Kiss mentioning Williams is right at the end.

That's a shame. I think it took him a while to find his bearings, but Ulster were really starting to make progress...

They've a decent squad that hasn't performed near its potential yet, but i guess it's back to square one no finding a new coach and on beggining the rebuilding process for the future.

Eddie O'Sullivan kicking himself he didn't hold out for a European / Irish job? Leinster under threat of losing Gafney? Bradley curse finally lifted off Connacht? Completely new selection of coach? Humphries??

Should be interesting to see who's in the hot seat..

Where Davidson and your man end up?

Jeremy Davidson is taking up post of assistant coach with Ulster in the summer. By 'your man' I presume you mean Mark McCall who is taking over at Saracens in the close season having helped Davidson at Castres.

If Gaffney goes for and gets the Ulster job, that'd be Leinster, Munster, Ireland, and then Ulster he'd have been involved in coaching.

    Not bad for an aussie

Never know though it could be a good chance for Jeremy Davidson

that team would have really come good under him next season, awful pity cause this season he spent dismantling the previous squad and bringing young lads through.
    suggestions for new coach
    Anderson
    Brewer
    Davidson
    Humphrey's
    Scottish coach just sacked
    Gaffney
    Gert Smal
