Tax for 'older' imported cars.. emissions or engine size?

    Hey,

    You know how the road tax rates changed there recently.. for cars registered after July 2008 or whatever it was..

    Well .. if you get a .. for example.. 2007 car, and import it.. does it mean the road tax will go by the engine size or the emissions?
