Where can I get a video machine?

    Our video machine has died, and we have loads of videos that my young daughter is very unhappy about not being able to watch. Does anywhere still sell video machines? Will I have to resort to trying to find one in the small ads?

    Try adverts.ie; they crop up occasionally there, and there is a wanted section too...

    Is it likely to be worth trying to get it repaired? Does anyone still repair VCRs? I've found that argos still sell VCRs, so I have one solution. I don't know if anyone else does.

    probably cheaper to buy a new one... unless the old one is a super-duper machine.

    foget repair it ain't worth it, I bought a vcr with the full works for €59 euro in argos about 18 months ago.

    Every few months Aldi and Lidl do duel players DVD & VHS. They are reasonably priced too.
