I was wondering if anyone out there is studying the LLB (Hons) in Irish Law in the evening? I would just like to talk to a couple of people to find out how it is going for them, are they enjoying it etc.

I am interested in starting this course in September but my famiily are against it, they say that it is not practical for me to do it that I would be better off doing something else that will help me in my job, the fact is I work in administration and I have gone as far as I can go in this position, I am at managerial level now there is no where else to go. I have always wanted to study law, I am 35 and this is the first time I have been able to consider doing a law degree because before this they were just too expensive. Am I just wasting my time with this or are there opportunities out there for people like me?

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.
