Thinking of stayin in days hotel for a wkend,has anyone stayed there b4 or can it be recommended? Is there any public leisure centers in kilkenney - i understand there isnt one at this hotel? thanks

There's a public leisure centre virtually across the road from days hotel which is practically brand new. Its 9 euros for gym and 11 euro for gym and swim. Days hotel seems alright. I've never stayed there but have attended lectures and conferences there and the facilities seem pretty good.

I have stayed in the Hotel on a number of occasions. It is great, very clean and staff friendly.

Not within walking distance of the city centre though, I'd pay the extra few neurons and get a city centre spot.
