The Ritchey bag is only for their Break-Away (collapsable) bikes - won't fit a standard frame.

All the others are pretty much identical - just with different branding - choose the one you like the colour of.

It's a good idea to fit a cardboard bike-box inside the bag to give a bit of extra protection.

the non rigid bags can be tricky to get balancing correctly. At least it was for me. Whereas the hardcase ones will be heavier. I wrapped my frame in bubble wrap and put inserts between the forks when travelling. Slapped a load of "FRAGILE" tape around the bag also. It was fine.

I believe you can hire them on Dublin - I think someone mentioned this on this forum.

Probably a bit more than you were hoping to spend but it is massively discounted at the moment http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Scicon_Atlas_Bike_Box/5360035746/

Another option is the canyon bikeshuttle allegedly the smallest hardcase bikebox on the market

Currently i make do with a planet-x bag (identical to the ones in your post) i picked it up in the sale a year or so ago for 60euros and it does the job.

Quick question - once the wheels come off .. do they travel within the bike bag too ... or are they additional baggage items.

They go in the main bag.
