    Hi,

Could anyone recommend a good Gel Saddle Cover for my Boardman racer with Velo saddle? Thanks!

I wouldn't really recommend a gel saddle cover to anyone. I'd say either replace the saddle, adjust it or get used to it. What problem are you experiencing?

Just a pain in the arse really! I've been cycling since the start of April and I'm gonna be doing a Cork to Galway cycle over 2 days next month. Just looking to make it easier to get back on the saddle the 2nd day!!

You'll just end up putting more pressure on your soft bits with a gel saddle (most of the weight should be borne by your seat bones). You'll probably find you get used to the saddle as your legs get stronger as your legs will take more weight when you're fit.

Are you wearing cycling shorts with a padded insert? Leave the cushioning to the shorts.

Ya i've got those shorts alright. OK, i might give it a whlie longer so. I know its getting easier the more i cycle but I was just getting worried about this long 2 day cycle. Thanks!
