Dublin band/project looking for vocalist

    We are currently looking for a singer with a distinct voice, best suited to someone influenced by Death Cab For Cutie, Angels and Airwaves, Band Of Horses, Grand Archives, Midlake, The Cure, The Smiths, The Police. We are based in Dublin City Centre and have some demo music already recorded. We are a guitarist/keyboardist, a bassist and are in the process of recruiting a second guitarist. All you have to do is take the vocals we already have and make them your own (we are'nt the best singers).

    PS: We're not looking for a Rob Halford, we're kinda looking for someone with an untrained voice, peculiar but interesting. If this sounds like you, email us at thelivingfew@hotmail.com (preferred) or PM here.

    PPS: Must be easygoing and fairly laid back, not looking for an ego maniac with a split personality, we have enough problems as it is ;)

    Drummer found, still working on the guitarist, all we need is that vocalist. Might be nice if they could also play Keyboard or Piano

    Yep, Dublin City Centre. Looking for someone roughly between 23 and 30 but not exclusively, just someone with a bit of general life experience.

    Hi There.
    I don't know if you'd think my voice distinctive but I am interested in the post based on the influences and thought I'd reply - dont let my avatar put you off btw. I am 31 and I sing, play guitar (v.good), bass (good), keys (a little) and I know my way around a Cubase and Reason for what its worth. I am in the middle of trying to write and record an album myself at home but I miss the interaction of playing with others. Not an ego-manian just love good music. Don't know if I sound like what you are looking for but pm me if you are interested. I am available most evenings and weekends too if that helps.

    I'm a guitarist. Play a bit of piano. And, also I sing a little though I've not got a strong voice ( really selling myself here ;) )
