Facet injection into Saroiliac Joint

    Hi all,
    Have been suffering with back pain for three years now. And have been to numerous consultants, have had XRays, MRI scans etc.

    I have been told that I have two bulging discs L4-L5, L5-S1, however there are no signs of nerve compression. Yet I have severe pain, left buttock and lower leg.

    I am currently attending pain management, have had 2xepidural and a facet block at L5-S1 - No pain reduction:mad:

    My consultant is now suggesting a steroid injection into sacroiliac joint/pelvis. Just wondering if anyone out there has experienced this procedure?
