    Hi
    I have Norton 360 2.0 , All-In-One Security installed on my PC .

However , in the bottom right hand corner of my PC , is an icon with a red X. This telle me that my Norton is out of date !

So , I insert my genuine Norton 360 2.0 into the cd drive , and it tells me that I have 195 days left on my subscription .

Can anyone tell me , what is going on here .................

    You bought crap antivirus....!!!!

Oh ok, well you should have a licence key, something that may be seperate to the disc. The disc should only be software. you should have a key either from an online registration or on a piece of paper..?

    Have you any?

Doubleclick on the red X icon and you should get a new window. Isnt there anything there about activating and/or renewing? Click into that, and enter your product key. Alternatively in the same window there should be a link for Norton Help and Support.

Here is what I think. Uninstall Norton. Download AVG for free. Away you go.

    I paid € 45 for my Norton 360 2.0

Of course I have genuine AVG , including the activation key , so its probably best that I , uninstall and re-install again.

But this is definately my last time buying anti-virus , as it appears from reading a lot of posts here that avg is just as good
