    Hi,

Just a quick question... I applied for a first learner permit last week by post as I can't make it in person to the motor tax office. My application was returned this morning with a note requesting my passport.

Is it acceptable to send a photocopy as it did not specify?

    Thanks!

Thanks, I thought as much but was hoping I wouldn't have to send it.

I was a tad freaked out at the thoughts of posting my passport to them, worked out grand in the end though. I sent it registered post and they returned it by registered post
