drivers req, help pls.

i have a advent 7086 on windows xp, it needs the following drivers,
sis agp driver,
video controler avg compatable,
i do not know if these are the same,
multi media video controler,
audio video controler,
i am a tech dunce, i only use this for web browsing, plus putting music on my player, and buying stuff i rarely use on adverts,

Connect to the internet using a wired connection. Run windows update and see if that sorts it. If not download and install drivermax and let it see if it can find the driver.

That should sort it for you.

I found driver with driver detective but don't know how to install it's strange

All the Advent laptops are rebadged machines made by someone else. The original manufacturers model number should also be on the sticker on the underside of the machine.

The 7086 is basically a rebadged ECS 321 (you should see 321 printed on the underside of the laptop) so you can also get the drivers, along with the user manual, from either the ECS Taiwan or ECS USA website
