Jeez, I noticed the logos shrinking but that's the best yet.

I've noticed myself that the logos for FF candidates are very small compared to those of other parties - seems to me to be a marketing scam on the part of FF, so that people will continue to vote for "that nice fella that does be in mass" whilst at the same time cursing the government...

I hear most of the poster printing was outsourced aswell?

Two FF candidates in Galway have no mention of FF on their posters.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,476 ✭✭✭Mr.Lizard

Could they not take it one step further and just make no mention of themselves whatsoever?

Would you blame them? All the election posters here have their party logos on them huge - SF, FG & Labour.. Then you see the FF posters and the Logo is absolutely tiny.

I'd be ashamed too if I was involved with that shower of useless cnuts

Micheál Martin was on the radio the other day saying that the Fianna Fail logo was of comparable size to other parties logos on posters. :pac:

More FF crap. Construction workers putting up posters for Aherns brother Maurice.

Anyone want to argue that this shower of clowns are not 'The Builders Party'?

They're also the upholsterers party. Des Kelly carpets have a huge billboard at their showroom in Phibsborough promoting some FF slapper.

Remind me not to buy in there in future

Christ that would be funny if it weren't so fcuking scary.

Talk about trying to bull$hit and confuse the electorate.
Wonder what else they've got in store.

Just had the Fianna Fail muppets at the door bedecked in Fianna Fail rossettes and with the party literature. They had the stupidity to claim their candidate was independent when I said I had no intention of voting fianna fail. When I pointed out all the logos etc they didn't know what to say and sheepishly left. Ridiculous shower of clowns

At this stage for Fianna Fail ,it must be like handing out National Socialist German Workers' Party flyers on the streets of Stalingrad in 1946

No, because the Russians didn't actually vote the Nazis into power in 1947...

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

The official line on the posters is - the FF logo hasn't got smaller, the photos have just got bigger.

Not a great site to be honest. The version as Gaeilge is still in English mostly. Like the whole island thingy in orange though. Now that FF are an all Ireland party...oh, wait... what happened to that proposal?

I'd say Gerry & Martin had a word in Brians ear, finna fail have enough to worry about without launching a full frontal assault on Sinn Fein...

I had a visit from a candidate last week in North Kerry. This particular woman is one of those staunch FF supporters, who was probably FF before she was born (long before). The only part of her spiel that impressed me was when she said "the only thing wrong with me is that I'm Fianna Fail".

When I told her that I wasn't going to vote for her, or her pals, she never even left me a leaflet. I wanted another FF one for my dart-board. :(

You probably should have said you wanted another leaflet to use as a dartboard. Half the problem with FF is that we the people don't make a forceful enough demonstration of what we demand from them.

In the 2004 election, I got the Evening Echo award for the smallest Fianna Fáil logo,” he said. “My view is that in local elections, you elect people, not parties,” he added.

Cllr Brosnan said that candidates of all parties should be selling their own record, rather than simply relying on their party’s brand to get them elected.

So, why isn't he running as an Independant?
